Additional Daily Rental Charges
Additional daily rental charges will apply if you require set-up before the day of the
event and/or clean-up after the event occurs after 10:00 am.
Residents: If the Centre is not rented, residents have access the night
before the event at no extra charge.
Note: The Gathering Place and the Entertainment Complex cannot both be
rented on the same day. The fridge may be used with the Entertainment Complex if
arranged at least one week in advance.
General Terms
All rental fees and deposits must be paid at the time of booking. Please email the
completed form to
office@mistusinne.com and e-transfer your fee
and deposit to the same address.
The damage/cleaning deposit will be refunded if the premises and grounds are left clean
and undamaged. Refunds are processed after the key is returned and inspection is
complete.
Booking Cancellation: If notice of cancellation is given 60 days or
less prior to the event date, both the rental fee and deposit are non-refundable.
Non-refundable Deposit Amounts:
Residents: $75.00 | Non-Residents: $150.00
Release & Indemnity Agreement
The organization or individuals shall indemnify and save harmless the Resort Village of
Mistusinne against all claims by members or invitees for injury or damage resulting from
neglect, default, or misconduct of the organization, its agents, or assistants during
this agreement. They assume all risk of loss or injury except to the extent caused by
the negligence of the Resort Village of Mistusinne, its servants, employees, or agents.
It is strongly recommended the organization obtain liability insurance for the event.
Terms & Conditions
- Obtain your own liquor permit. Maximum capacity: 50 persons (Gathering Place), 100
persons (Entertainment Complex).
- Be responsible for any damage to furnishings or the building during your rental.
- Use only sticky-tack for decorations and remove all decorations afterward.
- Complete the Check List (below) before inspection.
- Fireworks are prohibited on municipal property.
- Leave the area around the Community Space clean and free of debris.
- Damage exceeding your deposit will be billed separately.
- Meet with a village representative to obtain and return the key and review facility
condition.
- If key return/inspection isn’t completed by 10:00 am the morning after, an extra
day’s rental fee applies; no-show may incur a $25 penalty.
- Request use of the coffee pot or BBQ at booking; bring your own propane.
- Water at all community spaces is non-potable.
- No sound system is available for private functions.
Check List
All items must be completed prior to inspection (a copy is posted in the kitchen):
- Sweep floors and wipe up spills.
- Leave bathrooms tidy and ensure taps are off.
- Wipe tables and remove chair spills.
- Stack tables and chairs neatly.
- Place garbage in the Loraas bin.
- Turn off all lights (including exterior).
- Remove all food and beverages you brought in.
- Clean the grounds around the Community Space.
- Take recyclables with you.
- Ensure exterior doors are secure.
Cleaning supplies and garbage bags are under the kitchen sink.

Failure to complete the above may result in retention of part of your deposit at
$25/hour to address outstanding issues.
